Westland Foundation Education Fund Scholarships are available toward first year tuition fees at Red River College, the University of Manitoba and the University of Winnipeg.
Who is eligible
Graduates from Inner Winnipeg High Schools, who are registering at Red River College, the University of Manitoba, and the University of Winnipeg, are eligible to apply.
How it works
For Red River College, every A or B (70%+) earned at the end of each year from Grades 7 through 12, in eligible Inner Winnipeg schools, becomes a credit toward a Westland Foundation scholarship. For the University of Manitoba and the University of Winnipeg, an 80% earned is required.
The scholarship is available to students for up to 30 months from the date of their Grade 12 graduation.
How to Apply
Students are required to complete a Westland Foundation Scholarship application form.
Students must obtain their official school transcripts, including grades 7 through 12 (S4).
The completed scholarship application form, along with school transcripts, are taken to the Student Services Centre at Red River College, after July 1, for processing.
