In an effort to help those who are helping others, AAC is excited to offer 3 scholarships for those studying in the fields of behavioral health, counseling, psychology, social work, nursing or related sciences.
A) High school graduate as of Summer 2017
B) Open to full or part-time undergraduate or college graduate students
C) Must be entering or enrolled in behavioral health, nursing, counseling, psychology, social work, marriage/ family therapy, or other program focusing on treating mental health and/or substance abuse issues.
A) Please answer the following essay question: (800 – 1000 words max.)
B) Within your chosen area of the behavioral sciences, discuss the direction the field is heading in by looking at both encouraging and problematic trends. Discussion should include your suggestions for how to address or stem the problematic trends.
A) All essays will be reviewed by a committee selected solely by AAC. The review period will begin after the application deadline. Final selections will be made by the AAC Scholarship Committee.
