Human Resources Managers - What They Do


Human Resources Managers have generally received a Bachelor's or higher degree, plus work experience and have at least some work experience in the field before they can take on the responsibilities of the job. Once employed, Human Resources Managers can expect to earn an average of $102,000 per year throughout their career.

In addition, over the next 10 years Human Resources Managers will be one of the fastest growing occupations. They should experience a 11.4% rate of growth during this time period. In respect to starting your own business, Human Resources Managers rarely feel the entrepreneurial itch. Currently, 1.3% of the employment base is classified as self-employed.
