The Tilesetter program is designed to teach a student how to prepare bases, including waterproof membranes, metal lath and fasteners, back-up materials pertaining to tile, mixing and use of cement motars. A student will learn how to apply vitreous tile, quarry tile, ceramic tile, terrazzo tile, quartzite tile, glass tile, ceramic veneer tile, granite, and slate.
The Tilesetter Program will generally take a student 3 years to complete. Approx. 12 weeks of the program is designated to in-class study.
