A Building Envelope Technician Program will teach a student how to measure, handle, cut, prepare, install, remove, repair, and replace all types of external portions of walls. This program usually takes 6 months to complete.
After graduating from the Building Envelope Technician Program, a student can expect to be well versed in applied building science, following blueprints, and proper use of equipment and tools.
A student can also expect to fully understand regulatory requirements on the federal, provincial, and municipal level.
