Women in Trades Bursary

Two awards valued at a maximum of $1500 each are available to women who wish to enter non-traditional trades. The awards are intended to cover the cost of tuition, fees and books and, as such, will be paid directly to the student program fees account first. Selection criteria will include satisfactory academic progress, a strong work ethic and financial need. Applications should be submitted to one of the Student Service Centres accompanied by a one-page essay or letter describing your career goals and a brief life history as well as a reference letter from a previous instructor, employer or professional who knows you well. Deadline for applications is July 31.
