Dr. Arnita Young Boswell Scholarship

Award Deadline: March 1, 2013
The purpose of this scholarship award, in honor of our founder, Dr. Arnita Young-Boswell, is to recognize and honor African-American female and male students who have demonstrated academic excellence, concern for their community and the Black family, and a desire to continue their studies to completion. The required factors may be demonstrated through participation in religious, community, high school/college, and political activities.
GENERAL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants for NHBW, Inc. Arnita Boswell Scholarship must:
1. Enter an accredited college or university as a freshman, sophomore, junior or senior.
2. Have accumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 or better from your previous or present institution
3. Be involved in school and community activities
4. Demonstrate a mastery of written communication skills in a 300 to 500 word essay
